Join our peers from Chelsea's Fund at the first-ever Wyoming Reproductive Freedom Summit, in Lander, Wyo., at the Lander Community and Convention Center, 950 Buena Vista Drive.
With reproductive freedoms and health care at greater risk, now more than ever Wyoming supporters of reproductive freedom must connect, learn from each other, get inspired and mobilize.
The program is scheduled to run from noon – 6 p.m., with the doors opening at 11 a.m. for the opportunity to peruse information and booths from participating organizations.
Agenda (times are approximate)
- Noon – Welcome
- 12:10 – 1 p.m. – Abortion provider panel discussing their experiences and challenges
- 1:10 – 1:50 p.m. – Legislators on abortion in the Wyo. State Legislature
- 2:00 – 2:10 p.m. – Clergy for Choice – Rev. Kee offers a religious/spiritual framework that supports abortion care.
- 2:15 – 3:00 p.m. – Patient perspectives: Telling our stories
- 3:10 – 4:25 p.m. – Mobilizing our Majority: Friendbanking workshop
- 4:30 p.m. – KEYNOTE – Jessica Valenti
- Followed by mix and mingle.
The following organizations will have tables with information at the event: Pro-Choice Wyoming, Chelsea’s Fund, Wyoming Health Council, League of Women Voters of Fremont County, Wyoming Rising, Wyoming United for Freedom, Wind River Pride.
