The ACLU of Wyoming welcomes vigorous debate and differing views on its social media channels, including posts that disagree with our own views. We intend the comments section on our social media pages to be a forum where you can freely express your views on the work happening at the ACLU of South Dakota and across the country. As an organization dedicated to protecting civil liberties, we welcome dialogue and encourage free speech  

However, as a non-governmental, private organization, we reserve the right to hide or delete posts – as well as to temporarily or permanently block users – that engage in or contain the following:

  • Threatening or suggesting violence or harm, directly or indirectly, to another person. In addition, we may report threats to appropriate authorities.
  • Harassing or demeaning other people or groups of people, including but not limited to on the basis of race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, political classification, political affiliation, or disability.
  • Obscenity, child pornography or defamatory speech.
  • Spam and/or large volumes of repetitive content.
  • Advertisements, promotions, or solicitations of a commercial product or service.
  • Confidential, personally identifying, or private information.
